      Artifacts Gallery / Will Bullas

Will Bullas is a master watercolorist known for blending technical brilliance with a wicked sense of humor. Based in Carmel Valley, California, Will has spent over 40 years delighting collectors with his unmistakable brand of “antic artistry”—where ducks don disguises, pigs channel Old West gunslingers, and wildlife gets a whimsical twist.

Born in Ohio in 1949 and raised in the Southwest, Will's artistic journey began in Vietnam, sketching portraits for fellow soldiers. After returning home, he studied under master painter Ray Strong at the Brooks Institute of Fine Art, met his artist wife Claudia, and made the leap from printing press to painting full-time. Today, his award-winning work is celebrated across the country and held in private collections worldwide.

A member of the American Watercolor Society and National Watercolor Society, Will Bullas continues to make fine art unexpectedly fun—inviting us all to laugh a little louder and look a little closer.
