Sigikid

With roots stretching back over 150 years, Sigikid is a family-owned company built on generations of craftsmanship, creativity, and care. Originally founded in 1856 in Bavaria, Germany, as a manufacturer of glass beads, the company slowly evolved into a beloved toy brand under the guidance of Theo Köhler—great-grandfather of the current owner. In 1968, the Sigikid name was born, blending "Sigi" (short for Sigrid, a family name) and "kid" (for Axel, the first child born into the next generation).

Today, Sigikid continues its legacy of creating high-quality, imaginative toys and plush companions that spark joy and wonder in children around the world. Axel Gottstein now leads the company in Germany, while his sister Eva Frecea and her husband Lucian manage business development in the Americas. Through every stitch and smile, Sigikid remains dedicated to making childhood a little softer, a little brighter, and a lot more fun.
