The Moore Family Folk Art
Show of Hands Gallery in Denver, Colorado, is delighted to introduce you to The Moore Family Folk Art. Alan Moore has used found objects, salvaged material, and recycled items to create his art since he first became interested in making art as a child. After being introduced to primitive folk art in a high school art class, Alan has been developing his own unique and whimsical style of folk art.
The Moore Family Folk Art is definitely a family affair. Alan is assisted by his three younger sons, while his two older daughters have developed their own line of art pieces, continuing their father’s tradition of recycled material artwork. As a family, they promote sustainable local art and environmental stewardship, teaching how to create one-of-a-kind salvaged material art through their Moore Family Folk Art Workshops.
