Hannah Turner LTD
Hannah Turner launched her ceramics journey in 1991 after a sell-out degree show at Bristol University, where her whimsical taxidermy-inspired pieces—especially her charming black crows—caught immediate attention. Orders rolled in, and with a small studio and big imagination, Hannah’s business took flight.
From sculptural birds and fish to wall-mounted moose heads, her work has always carried a signature sense of humor and playfulness. That creative spirit helped her weather economic ups and downs, build a loyal collector base, and gain placement in galleries and shops across the UK and beyond.
In 2011, Hannah expanded her reach by partnering with a Sri Lankan manufacturer to produce a range of tableware that stayed true to her sculptural roots—think quirky egg cups, salt and pepper shakers, and joyful money boxes. This shift allowed her to focus on new ideas and grow the business without sacrificing charm or quality.
Today, Hannah’s designs are sold worldwide, featured in beloved shops like Anthropologie and The Woodland Trust. Still a family business, she works alongside her husband Dave and children Megan and Charlie, with sustainability at the heart of everything they do. All packaging is plastic-free and recyclable, and a portion of profits supports conservation efforts for the animals that inspire her work.
Whimsical, functional, and full of character—Hannah’s creations bring a smile with every piece.
